we are the data controller for all personal data collected through this website.
what we collect and why
when you join the list, we collect your email address. we use it to send you early access invitations and launch updates for hush. nothing else. we will never sell your data, and we will never fill your inbox with things that don't matter.
lawful basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), given when you submit the form. you can withdraw it any time by emailing us.
who else touches your data
we work with a small number of trusted services to run this website. here's what they do:
database
stores your email in our waitlist database. EU-hosted.
email delivery
sends confirmation and update emails on our behalf. EU-hosted.
analytics
anonymous product analytics. captures page views and interaction events. no personal data is linked unless you submit the form. EU-hosted.
hosting
hosts this website and processes basic connection data, like your IP address, to deliver and secure the site (legitimate interest, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
cookies
we don't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. our analytics provider stores a first-party cookie and a local storage entry for anonymous analytics, in production only.
how long we keep your data
we keep your waitlist data until you ask us to delete it, or until 24 months after launch - whichever comes first.
your rights
under GDPR, you have the right to:
- -access the data we hold about you
- -correct anything inaccurate
- -request deletion
- -withdraw your consent at any time
- -object to processing
- -request data portability
